The East Coast Gang Investigator’s Association and its co-host, MAGLOCLEN, will host the 14th Annual East Coast Gang Investigator’s Association Information Sharing Conference at the Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center, 101 North Boardwalk, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
The agenda for this information sharing conference will include material from federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies focusing on a wide range of domestic and international gangs and all aspects of their associated activities. Various gangs will be examined with regard to their propensity for violence, involvement in the narcotics trade and use of firearms. All topics are tentatively scheduled and a finalized agenda will be made available in the upcoming months.
On Tuesday morning, September 24th, from 8:30 a.m-11:30 a.m., there will be an optional class which has yet to be determined. Please check the box on the registration form if you are interested in attending this class.
Monday, September 23rd, will be a travel day with registration being held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. An additional registration will be held on Tuesday, September 24th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The conference will commence at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, September 24th and end on Friday, September 27th at approximately 1:00 pm. THE CONFERENCE IS RESTRICTED TO CRIMINAL JUSTICE PERSONNEL ONLY. Please be sure to have your criminal justice identification at the time of registration. There is a $125 registration fee, which includes continental breakfast Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, two luncheons, breaks and conference related materials. A late registration fee of $25.00 ($150.00 Registration Cost) will be assessed after August 26, 2013. Make checks payable to ECGIA. Federal Tax ID# 52-2098813. Vouchers are accepted. CREDIT CARDS CAN BE USED TO PAY THE REGISTRATION FEE DURING THE FOLLOWING DATES ONLY – SEPTEMBER 23-25, 2013. DO NOT SEND CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WITH THIS REGISTRATION FORM. An optional fee of $50 will be collected at registration for those attendees wanting to participate in the information sharing/hospitality on September 24th, 25th and September 26th.
Hotel arrangements are the responsibility of the attendee and are to be made by calling the Atlantic Sands (800) 422-0600 (www.atlanticsandshotel.com) by August 26, 2013. Please mention that you are with the East Coast Gang Investigators Association when making your hotel reservations. Hotel space is limited and subject to availability. The room rate is $107.00 single/double plus 8% tax ($8.56), $1.50 Safe Warranty fee and $3.00 Resort fee. There is NO charge for parking. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Reservations made after August 26, 2013, are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
